Second of the HUGE set of weapons/clothing/character sketch work I'm doing for Legacy.

With all games having such a variety of weapons and armour, I really got to thinking that having some "Passable" detailed sketches on the weapons would work.

This is the only non-Shin-Ra designed weapon in the VII set. The Ultima Weapon, found in the dead body of the Ultimate Weapon by Cloud Strife after they had defeated it.

More info about the design process.
the original design for The Ultima Weapon always fascinated me, simply because I still got killed many times after getting it. The subtle change in the colour of the blade as Clouds HP went down, I really found that cool.
But the main design for it was...well the blade was dinamite! But the hilt...GAH! I tried and tried to sketch it out from memory so that it would work, but I never liked the finished result. So I've redesigned the hilt, there's no longer a Red Gem set at the base of the blade and the hilt is set to guard the hands and lower arms a little better-being thicker.

The reason this sword doesn't have any Shin-Ra referances to it is because it is simply older than the Shin-Ra. In the story, it was a Cetra designed and made weapon that was added to the design of the Ultimate Weapon to make it stronger(possible that it would eventaully work as a weapon for the WEAPON-like in VIII)
And as I - at the moment - can't find or learn a kanji to represent 'CETRA' I've left everything bare.
